Rare, Natural Evil Eye Crystal Agate Charm and Amethyst Bar Necklace: Lake Superior Agate Healing Crystal Jewelry

Evil eye charms are strong protective talismans. It is believed that happiness, love and good fortune can draw the evil eye through the powers of envy, jealousy, resentment and other malevolent forces in the world. This can be conceptualized as someone (or some force) literally eyeing another’s happiness, love or other good fortune with envy, jealous, resentment or another malevolent force, intentionally or unintentionally. The evil eye charm wards off these malevolent forces by staring back, protecting happiness, love and good fortune (Illes, 2008).

Naturally occurring evil eye are very rare and considered highly valuable.

Agate is the stone of Asclepius, the god of medicine.  It is known for its slow, steady and powerful healing properties. It’s an excellent grounding and calming crystal for trauma and chaos. This genuine Lake Superior Agate was found, polished and handcrafted into jewelry in Minnesota.

Lake Superior Agate necklace: rare, natural evil eye crystal agate charm, strung on gold-filled chain with gold-filled clasp and amethysts.

15 3/4” long

Photos are taken from different angles and with different filters to best illustrate the full beauty of the agate in 2D.

Agates have natural divots and fissures that are seen as unique variations rather than flaws.

These agates were deposited in Minnesota by the Lake Superior Glacier during the last ice age and happen to be the official state gemstone. I start by hunting for the rough stones, then scrub them to reveal their potential, polish them into gem form in my tumbler, and finally, turn them into jewelry.
